Relevance

Today's society is facing a problem of nurturing a healthy generation. A number of following factors cause a number of negative consequences.

Gadget Addiction

The issue of children’s dependence on modern devices is a longstanding one. As a result of the excessive use of digital technology, parents face with a wide range of problems befalling their children. These include deteriorating health, psychological and socio-adaptive problems.

SOCIAL INTEGRATION AND BULLYING

Extreme employment of parents, generation gap, technologization of children's subculture, lack of "yard" socialization and other trends negatively affect the socialization of modern children. As a result, children often become "closed", stop showing interest in the world around them, become aggressive, and sometimes bully or get bullied.

Obesity and overweight

One in five children in Kazakhstan is obese. The causes are a sedentary lifestyle and unhealthy diet. Being overweight in childhood increases the likelihood of obesity, premature death and disability in adulthood. In addition to increased risk in the future, obese children are also prone to hypertension, early signs of cardiovascular disease, insulin resistance and psychological problems.

FAST FOOD AND UNHEALTHY DIET

One of the reasons for the weight gain among children is unhealthy diet and fast food eating habits. Eating habits determine the levels of defense mechanisms of a body, increases resilience to infections, aggressive influence of environmental factors and other adverse effects.

SPECIAL PROJECTS

Having studied the world’s experience and various approaches to healthcare, we plan to initiate and implement the following long term projects and directions

HEALTHY FAMILY

2020 has become a difficult and complex period for an each and every family in Kazakhstan. Many have faced harsh realities as economic and social problems had stirred up society. How does a state overcome this negative trend? It might use the crisis as an opportunity to implement an idea of being active. Moving is the easiest and the most accessible way to be physically active. We offer an exchange:each family staying active for a real financial help. A logical and timely decision.
Project under the motto «Mom, Dad and I - healthy family». We offer each family to exchange their staying active for financial assistance, namely the state will help repay the mortgage or credit. The more moves, the better the chances of winning.

RULES AND CONDITIONS

PARTICIPANTS
Kazakhstani families (up to 4 people from 12 years old) can participate in the anti-crisis project.
TASK
Participants install a program on their smartphones that counts the participants' steps throughout the year. You can choose the purpose - repayment of the mortgage or good deeds.
RESULTS AND PRIZES
Every month the best "active" families in the ranking receive prizes - sports equipment. At the end of the year, 3-5 most active families are determined, which receive a prize - repayment of a mortgage or loan. Those who choose “Good Deeds” as their goal, then their accumulated amount is sent to support children's sports.

TAX BREAKS

It is planned to make a suggestion to the Ministry of Culture and Sport to introduce tax benefits for parents of young athletes. Every sport requires a lot of money from parents. Uniforms, equipment, training - they drain a lot of family savings. If parents whose children are involved in sports training organizations receive additional tax relief, this will provide some financial relief. Parents paying children’s fees up to 250,000 tenge per year will be able to receive a special tax deduction for sports training expenses up to the age their children reach 18 years of age. By doing so, we will keep the country’s sports reserve, involve children in doing sports, and contribute to the development of sports organizations on all levels and forms of ownership.

PSYCHOLOGICAL SUPPORT FOR SPORT STARS

One in 10 children has mental health and emotional well-being problems. We are encouraged by the innovative approach of a pilot project in the United Kingdom, where, over a period of six months, sports stars were providing psychological support to the students of 25 schools with sport. The results of the project showed that meeting physical needs tackle long-term psychological problems.
This way, we would like to initiate a series of master classes and meetings with sports stars, where school students will be supported and the platform for boosting self-confidence and sports potential will be created.
